4 Years ago. Depending on who you ask, that might be a lot of time, or just a tiny fraction of their entire life, but one thing is true, a lot can change in that time.
4 Years ago, there was a tiny being, an unknown fella by most people, who was starting to have questions. That tiny being felt like they didn't fit anywhere, What was their purpose? Why were they suddenly feeling like this? Are they just overthinking things? They just couldn't tell at all.
4 Years ago, these questions were driving them insane, everytime they tried to ignore what was causing them these questions, it would intensify even more, it doesn't help things that they barely had friends around that time, friends that could help them with these doubts...
4 Years ago, they gave up questioning this and decided to go investigate what was occupying their mind all the time.
Then it all made sense.
The years passed by, and that tiny being, now all grown up, started to accept their thoughts. But some things still bothered them, things that they thought they would have to deal with for eternity.
Or at least that was the case, until they started opening up to more and more people, getting to know more friends along the way. These people and friends helped this being by answering their biggest questions, helping them find their own path, giving them their support, letting them be themselves. This being wasn't alone anymore.
That being was actually a tiny girl all this time, who kept being repressed by her thoughts, but now nothing's holding her back.
That girl wishes that all of this happened faster than life intended to, that girl wishes that she didn't have to endure so much pain, but a wish that she got granted, is to be who she truly is.
If that tiny girl of 4 years ago knew that in these upcoming days, she's finally going to be herself, that she's finally going to live the life she didn't before, she would be screaming of joy, most likely tearing up. Just like I am.
From questioning to finding her true self, I'm happy for her, and I wish her a happy 4th birthday.
